Ok, this thread is for those who have too much time in their hands to ponder on things with no practical application whatsoever. Once upon a time I read a discussion in the usenet newsgroup rec.games.miniatures.warhammer. Between a couple of flame wars someone hit upon the idea of making a marine chapter based on the prominent personalities there.
Now I'm not trying to encourage the emulation of rgmw, but that particular idea struck me as funny and somehow stayed in the dark recesses of my twisted mind. Now, if we were to make a epicomms chapter, who would everyone in your opinion be? All of the following are, of course, M(NS)HO. No offense intended.
Tas would (surprise!) be master of ships while Legion4 would be at least the first company commander, if not chapter master, as he's written the infamous Codex Astartes appendix SOTR.
Then there's Mr. Vanvlak whose choice to the position of the master of forge is obvious. Since our webmaster Cybershadow takes care of the day to day running of epicomms he fits the position of master of the household.
To the position of the master of sanctity I'd give to Maksim while primarch is obviously the master of apothacarion.
Then there are at least the positions of either Lieutenant commander or chapter master (depending who L4 is), chief librarian, master of the ordnance and various lesser posts such as company commanders to consider. Fire away!

Your twisted mind has an affinity with my own...great idea!
It is with great pleasure I accept your Nomination as Master of Vessels, and will excerise my Command from the Bridge of my Battle Barge Flagship "Divine Vengeance Down Under"!
I also propose the following:
Tuffskull- Master Painter of Chapter Heraldry and Keeper of Iconography
Jimbo- Chief Librarian, Keeper of Xeno Knowledge (specilising in Orkoid forms)
Primarch needs additional titles- Master of the Collections. he could also be the chief Astropath given his orignating a mass of message traffic
Seeker of Females- Guess Who that could be?
So who is our Chaplain?
And of Course, Chapter EpiComms will need a Chapter Badge!

Wonder how long they would remain chaste and virtuous if attached to a group of a thousand super men....

Just remember to be curteous and not call them "bitvhes with bolters"
I think your answer lies in how much booze is around to ply them with!

Actually I find most girls love a mild slating, particularly the word 'Hussy' seems to start a conversation, which with enough alcohol tends to loosen there grip on there virtue. It is ironic that depreciating remarks are often more successful than compliments.
Or there is the innocent routine which works on the more 'active' females, but mostly girls tend to want to go out with idiots. So I am quite lucky in that respect, all depends on the girl really.

Battlecry: Ten thousand posts!
Chapter Badge (until someone designs a real one):

Sorry, I don't think a marine chapter has a post named "Master of Harem"...
So who is our Chaplain?
|
Master of Sanctity is the same as a head chaplain, just as Master of Forge is a head techmarine.
Re Vanvlak: Master sniper? Hmm, I'm not particularly patient or anything... care to elaborate a little?

Blah, what is the point of being a genetically enhanced super human if you can't use your skills to impress the ladies and lead them astray!

slander!
My real place of work is an IT company and thus low of totty, I have 2 female friends tho who share my tales and lunch with me. Other than that I spend all my time talking on EPIComms!
Then in the evenings I escape to go on the prowl. Still trying to decide whether or not to text the last conquest, I said I would, but it has been 5 days now, so I probably shouldn't bother.
On the other hand, could just claim that I was playing it cool...

I like it ! I'll be happy with any leadership/tactical position, as long as I'm not cleaning latrines or flipping burgers in the Mess Hall !
