Hey everyone! I got the new WD (288 - UK) through my door this morning, as the first mag in my subscription. Anyway, after I had a quick flick through it, some interesting things came up: Games Day UK review.This really doesn't capture how big and amazing games day is! Plus, there is a picture of me in there...see if you can find it! BFG Armarda: This is looking to be one amazing book! Jervis announces it's release in the Fanatic news pages. It will contain the following fleets: Dark Eldar Necron Tyranid Tau Space Marines Battlefleet Armageddon Imperial Bastion Imperial Reserve Ork Waaaaaaaagh! Late War Eldar Corsair Chaos Space Marines Wow! A fair few to look at. The new imperial ones look very interesting! This book is retailing for ?18, and I need to get my hands on it! This mag also contains lots about Firewarrior, making scenery, scenario's etc. but no Epic! Cheers Chris PS, this is the first WD to be ?4, so don't forget I warned you! |

...Sounds good Chris, think I'll be getting a sub soon- WD has been getting better as of late and I heard there was going to be more free stuff too...  ...Armada.... ooo, great, its finally coming out, I'll have to steal a little from my Epic:A fund to buy it I think! Are there any Golden Demon pics in this one, or are they doing a seperate book in a month like they did last year? |

I don't know if "kind" is a correct discription of me,  but no matter ! ? ? ?I just got the new issue and it is quite colorful and generally well done. ?There is always a lot of good modeling and fluff ... some good terrain ideas etc. ... ?I'm easy ...

Yes, in this US issue there is French and Canadian Golden Demon pics, and EoT results, etc., etc. From what I can see, many articles are the same. And I believe I've seen UK G-Day pics in the past.

  Wow, that's exactly the same as me. I got my first mag of my first (2 year) subscription. Weird. Quite glad too. ?4 indeed  It's surprised me how early it came. It's got a free army book for the fantasy army of the Kislevites too. |

OK, I got my copy... which one are you, Chris? I must admit that I am really disappointed with this issue. I was determined not to get this issue as a small protest against the price increase and the lack of Gothic or Epic. But, the article on the Crimson Fists swung it for me. Aside from that, there is nothing in the issue that interests me. I wont be rushing out for the next one at all. |

Look on the second double page spread for Games Day, on the left hand side, look for a guy with a camo t-shirt with a camera, looking at the archive Space Marines, thats me! The caption below me reads "The Games Wotkshop Archive displayed a history of the Space Marines" Cheers Chris |
