Well ... Tas, Ginger is 6 feet tall and 160 lbs. That's a lot of Land Raiders, Rhinos, etc. ?Kitty is much the same, neither have "bio-enhancement" and I look like a large Squat ... I've already said too much ... ?

Just to clarify...
No packaging, excessively large bases and most definately ?nopackaging or transopirting cases can be included in the weight. ?We are talking dead weight of 100% lead, plastic and paint only! Quite strictly inspected too...
Hey L4...lemme guess which one is blonde!

Just epic minis? I probably wouldnt have a chance - I sell it too often and all the plastic is to light! But overall, I could probably get to that weight at any one time. I have a collection of a good few thousand painted 15mm figs. A Lead Savage Orc army for WHFB which will be finished soon (I hope!) and weighs a heafty lot itself. I've just finished all the heavy lead stuff for the empire army I had on my workbench plus other figs so I reckon I have to be close.
On the display gase front, I am lucky to have a custom made case, 110cm wide with 8 shelves. Thats overflowing with painted stuff. My bookshelf sounds much like maksim's with rows of models in front of the books too

Having a display case is a good idea, but how do you deal with dust? I had a couple of SM companies assebled on my windowsill for a few months and they are covered in dust already!
Cheers
Chris

Thats why my case was custom made - its got a perspex cover to keep the dust off
You can buy glass fronted cabinets but they cost a bomb. Luckily a mate of mine is a pro "Chippy" (carpenter, as opposed to sparky=electrician etc....). He also made my gaming table/workbench - very useful guy to know

Hehe- the dust problem- I have three large shelves and a bookcase top full of WH and 40k minis, and damn.. they seem to suck dust onto them.... I have most of my other minis boxed up, including my entire Eldar Army for 40k- it hasn't seen light for several months now... I do have all my Epic under cover tho, in a rather good bookcase/cabinet with glass doors, with a few shelves cleared of books for them, and my Death Guard lain out in front of my sci-fi books.
My BFG fleet is on top of another bookcase, but will be put in a cabinet for them soon, when I get it home from school.

Some of my stuff are in model display cases, a few custom made. Most are in plastic picture frames that are about 20mm deep that fit over a card board base. And some are even in Baseball card clear plastic boxes, for some of the taller models. ?I'm constantly reorganizing after 12 years of Epicing ! ?And dusting the clear display cases, instead of the models ... a lot. ? And Tas - Strawberry blonde and Brunette like a Romulan ... your guess ? ?

Hi!
No worries, I wont cheat, I'm really curious, I have never wondered how much it all weighs, although I have complained about it for a long time. We'll see.
