Cool
Hmm.. I wonder if anyone would use those schematics to accidentally build a 3d version that might just accidentally find its way to a matter printer...

I knew it Vanvlak.  8v)

But there will be a game with models based on these schematics. Hopefully a box like the battletech starters box.

Very interesting.   Coincidentally, I'm reading a book about US battleships and the chapter I just finished was about the pre-Dreadnoughts.

Or one can go what's already here... Aeronef

Leviathans looks like the next step up from Aeronef; steam-punk up to diesel-punk. The Aeronef/Land Ironclads models are definitely worth owning; waiting with extreme curiosity to see how the Leviathan models turn out.

OTOH, I'd love to see someone produce models for ships as found in these drawings. Those make the most sense to me (and are probably the best drawings of airships) as combat vessels.

Oh dear, I HAVE been a bit absent, haven't I? :vo
Coffee, please, rather than tea :)

Sorry guys, overloads of work*

I own Aeronef and several models (well of course I would   ) - Leviathan looks interesting because it's purportedly from a decade or two later, the ships are pre-dreadnought (or should be) in appearance, and after a bit of scrounging around I discovered the largest models are 6cm-ish - not bad at all :)
And yes, I HOPE there's a starter box, that would be grand.

1 overload = light, 10-hour day of work
2 overloads = standard day of 12 hours work
3 overloads = 2 overloads AND cleaning out the cat litter too!

Thanks L-4 - comms should remain shaky for a few weeks but this summer I'm planning a bit of a break, and maybe an Epic-y project too  :vD
I have to admit that I was also kept busy by the Lead Painters' League too, so the model scene was not altogether quiet. Take a peek here: LPL to see my gradual descent down the league table.....  :sulk:
