How goes it folks, it's been a while since I was last in these parts!  ![]() Things change, we grow older and wiser, but still Epicomms endures (albeit with a slight colour & name change). Good to see almost all you old faces are still around, coming out with lots of beautiful miniatures (where do you find the time Warmaster?!  ![]() Its cool to pop back after so long and do a bit of catching up - reading the boards here and seeing the new posts at Dropship has got me on a right nostalgia trip and I've been digging out Titans and Eldar from under my bed to cart back to uni with me in the new year; perhaps you'll see a few finished in 2009. Whats the current buzz with Epic and the Specialist Games in general? - I'm sure I've missed a bit in the few years I've been gone! Cheers, and see you in the morning - far too many interesting threads to keep reading at 2am...  ![]() All the best, Gabe |

Long time no see Stormseer. ![]() Warmaster's workbench is in the Eye of Terror, in a section where time flows backwards. That's why he can paint so much; when he stops he actually has more time than he started with. As for SG, well, nothing new. As in no new minis or supplements. Sure, there are the usual rumors about how we might be getting some new minis and how there are big plans. Fortunately there is very active fanbase around here; they have already made the first supplement (raiders) and the second one is in progress. |

Cheers everyone, it's good to be back. I'm currently in my final year at uni (my 4th year after a rather unfortunate sports related arm breakage last year)...  ![]() I've worked on some pretty exciting stuff over the last couple of years, both my own projects and stuff for different companies - I'll try and cobble a few galleries together when I'm back home from my holidays! I hope I have a few interesting tricks and tips up my sleeves to share; I know my modelmaking has come on a lot recently.. learning to use a range of workshop tools and an eclectic range of materials has been fantastic. I'm simply dying to try my hand at some scratchbuilt titan weapons and BFG components when I have a spare minute. With my big uni projects I've not been doing much miniature painting or Epic stuff, but recently I've been looking at some of the amazing 1:72 Armoured Core mech kits - I highly reccomend getting hold of one if anyone is up for a fun, uber detailed and exciting plastic kit to build. Anyways.. it's a bit sad to see GW still neglecting us (and the rest of the SGs), but heh, to be honest I wasn't expecting anything different.  ![]() Now.. back to that Saim Hann list and my boxes of Eldar!
