Me too - sorry DS! I'm midway through the 40s...

Very nice Tas, like the muted colours and the detail.

Thanks, Van. It's okay, though. Tuning 50 was nearly as traumatizing as turning 40. :D

Nice work, Tas. I haven't seen those minis before.

Very nice looking. Are they well detailed when unpainted?

Yes indeed - I have not converted these at all - all that lovely detail (including the guy with the samurai sword under his backpack) is cast :)

Here are the other three, making a squad total of 6 APEs (Armoured Personal Exo-system)

Yes L4 - I thought of you when I was applying all those decals! Need to find a chevron decal for the Sarge!
Maybe some of those very cool shoulder USA flag patches too ;D

M'Lords and Gentlemen (and any Ladies present of course)

Abject apologies for my appalling lack of updates but the sad truth of it is that I have not unearthed my Epic armies and models for some time. Yes indeed, I plead guilty and throw myself upon the mercy of the court!

I have dabbled of late with 28mm gaming with SAGA, Bolt Action and mostly recently Chain of Command. I have also been playing a bit of Blood Bowl with my son which has been fun.

So why the update now? Two reasons actually - I am about to embark on a new gaming genre and seek your thoughts. 6mm it will be and historical in nature, but as to what era I seek your thoughts. Ancients is a possibility, as is War of the Roses or indeed the English Civil War. What is important is my return to the one true Wargamer's scale! :D

Secondly, I am about to move to the US for 18 months or so, from July. We will be based in New England and I would love to canvas opinion on the wargamer's "don't miss" of the USA. IS it GENCON? Historicon? I'm likely to be able to wedge a few things in, but not lots, so would appreciate your advice.

best wishes to all and Happy Easter!
