Hi,
I just got some ominous news today that the place I work at might be cutting back on operations. Now I'm pretty much prepared for anything but just to be safe. I was looking at my small collection to see what I can let go. Now before you start asking for this or that; I am not at this moment selling anything this is just to ask what would people be comfortable with in paying for certain things just in case things head south.

Dude

That is shite news....

The current market is quite bad and the AUS$ has gone down quite badly. I really wish I could help you out on this one.

I hope the guys here can assist with some prices. The problem is not having a bidding war....

My recommendation would be ebay as it will most likley get the best price. I would not even consider Bartertown unless you are set on a price and will not go below it. Quite hit and miss really.

Like I said, would love to help you out, but without seeing some prices, and then working out how much it will cost me personally, I will just keep watching the thread to see any updates.

Yeah I want to go through ebay with set prices so I can clear them out quickly but am worried that some people might buy them up and try to resell them at outrageous prices.
I know I paid for some items that were ,honestly, too much and want to avoid that; a good price that will make both the seller and buyer happy.
Also the last thing I want to do is start a bidding frenzy on this site.
I was informed that in two weeks until after the holidays they will be letting people go so hopefully I'll be around til the end of the year.

1. Go on ebay.
2. Do a search for your item under completed listings.

This will allow you to gain a high and low price.

3b (see below for 3a). Sell it as a buy it now for the price that you think is reasonable based on the previous sales.
4. After it is sold, forget about it. By doing your homework, you will get the price that will not allow it to be sold onto others for a profit.

3a. Better yet, get the price you want and let us know. I would love the chance to have first dibs on buy-it-now stuff before it hits flea bay, and it saves you the fees

Cheers.....

Yes, best of luck with that ... you are not alone ...   And I agree, check eBay for pricing ...

Hey, I'm hiring doctors and nurses right now.  Just in case you need a backup plan.

Hey, I'm hiring doctors and nurses right now.

Thanks Javelin, but I'm nowhere near to being qualified for those jobs   :oh:

I'm doing inventory as now I have a clear picutre of how long I'll be employed. I'll be sure to post here before I go on ebay and hopefully do some trades since I'll have some time to kill so might as well look on the positive side
