Hello all, I'll be making an official anouncement on our website and on various forums at some point in the next week, but I thought I'd mention this here first as everyone here has been so encouraging and supportive about what we've been doing in France with the wargaming facilities at our b&b.

Basically, because my fianc?e's children haven't settled well at school here in France, we have decided to return to the UK; we have been looking in to this and it looks likely that we'll move over next month (hopefully; we've a few things to sort out before then).

So what about Wargaming Holidays? ?Well, I won't be able to make any more terrain for it, or organise any events :( but the wargaming facilities will remain open. ?This won't be forever, however, as my fianc?es parents can't maintain and run the place without our help, so our property is up for sale.

So, basically, Wargaming Holidays will remain open until our place gets sold.

I just wanted to thank everyone on here who ever offered an encouraging comment about wargaming holidays - although it's a shame that it hasn't worked out here, I must admit I am looking forward to returning to the UK and meeting up with the Epic gang at a tournament in the near future. ?You'll find me propping up the final results table somewhere in the bottom three! :p

We're planning on moving to Suffolk, within 30 miles of Ipswich, so if anyone is in that area and fancies a game when I'm back, you're welcome to get in touch...

I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out. I thought your B&B was a great idea.

Sorry to hear it hasn't worked out. It was a magnificent effort though - your games room was amazing!

Hope all goes well with the move back to the UK. The tournament scene in the UK seems to be going from strength to strength, so you should definitely come along to an event.

Sorry to hear the news, I've been steadily working on the wife for a holiday at your place. It'll be good to have you back for the tournament scene though.

Blimey only just noticed this thread, sorry to hear it's not worked out for you Firestorm. ?Excellent idea and the venue always looked first rate in the pictures.  Good luck with the move and I hope it all works out ok for you and your family settling back into English life.

What are you plans for all the kit!? ?Must be an Epic task moving it all back to the UK.
