seems it depends on your definition of feudalism: The ubiquitous Wikipedia link Happily it proves my belief, that I didn't quite know what feudalism is. ![]() Still, Sark seems to fit the bill as well as anywhere might. |

and Monaco is also still ruled by a supreme sovereign and in a way sow is the Vatican (supreme sovereign means that there is no government other then the supreme ruler aka the king or emperor) |

Im not sure if we should be happy or sad..... I hate politicians yes but the idea of a sovereign ruler is not that good an idea after all because some of the most memorable of those is Hitler, Stalin, mosolini, mao, pol pot, sharlaman, napolion, and the list goes on an on you see where this is going by democracy you have at lest a chance every 4,7 or 8 years of booting the mad men's out |

King Victor Emmanuel was nominal head of state. |
