Discovered the first two (of 4) in the British Club here (old boy). I liked them. Forgettable admittedly but a fun read. In essence they take todays tech, upgrade to the level necessary to fight interesting battles in space, through in tough situation plus your flawed hero and go for it. The focus is on fleet command and logistics. Anyone else come across these yet? |

As you say Chris a fun but forgettable read. I suppose introducing real/relativistic physics into a novel would probably make for a rather dull space combat read but the nod towards the logistics involved does put a bit of a different focus on things than you normally get out of this type of novel. |
