It's really a shame that the models won't be nearly as well detailed as those prototypes.  They would have been great to use in Giant Monster Rampage.

"The Monsterpocalypse CMG will launch with over 80 figures in the initial set and will include large-scale monsters, destroyable city structures, and vehicles. It is planned for release at retail in 2008.  Figures will be sold in randomized booster packs and non-randomized starter games, and special figures will be available at events throughout 2008. "

Destroyable city structures, yay!

Vehicles. I have no response to that.

Randomized, crap!

What's the scale supposed to be?

@Otterman - there's always the eBay secondary market. And if you're not after the super special rares (and why would you be) you can get them pretty cheap and re-paint them. You're right on the structures though, those will be fun, specially since they'll have to be "demolishable".

@SC - they looks to be the same size as all the CCM games.

Well, the other clickies I've owned can be cleaned up and paint well, so - yay :) :)
And as dave pointed out, you can find suppliers of specific models, and many can be had for cheap.
