Laughter should be part of every proper diet as well as a sense of humility. The following link tells you secrets that no GW employee would ever let you know...

if you don't find this amusing seek medical attention.

Epic- A version of the game with even smaller models that is often dominated by titans which are vehicles the size of a large building and have the ability to p0wn...everything. There is also infantry, whose only function in Epic is to provide valuable traction to Titans walking across snowy paths.

That quote is pure class, I had a good chuckle at that..  Sums up Epic nicely.

OK as a GW sales person

   * What "team" do you collect?

  -> Skaven Doh...

   * I've just started playing. Is Magnus Calgar a good starter unit?

  -> Hell no, for one he is huge hypocrytic and an ultramarine

   * Do you have a girlfriend?

   -> Yeah for about 4 year, do you have a boyfriend?

   * 6 trees for ?20, thats a rip off!

   -> Wouldn't say much to this.

   * Could an entire Space Marine Chapter beat Chuck Norris?

    -> Hell no, Chuck Norris is so hard he doesn't read books, he glares at them and they give up their information to him.

   * Isn't hobbycraft terrain cheaper?

   -> How am I sposed to know. the nearest one is 50 miles away. You go and find out for me.

   * How much is this lemon russ?

    -> ?25, can't you read the label.

   * Don't you feel guilty, dirty and full of shame when you go home? Doesn't working for GW want to make you kill your co-workers?

    -> *shrug* Better than doing a real job.

   * Aren't space marines a bit overpowered?

   -> Play against an Eldar army and tell me SPACE MARINES are overpowerd.

   * The way you've painted that thing with horns makes it look really cute

   -> Yeah I call him bubbles.

   * Do you have a life?

   -> er.. yeah... I'm talking to you aren't I... You're not Derek Acorah.

   * Why is it that these guys have had guns for thousands of years, yet have reverted to fighting with axes and swords?

    -> It looks cool

   * Do your customers realize they are being robbed? Seriously, GW crap is expensive. You'll never be able to afford a home if you keep playing.

    -> Hey, it's not like you will be able to afford one on your McBurger salery either. I mean look at the housing market, you would have to sell all your parents organs to even get on the housing ladder

But where do you go when the person introduces you to that significant other?

What if it was a girl asking?

The What if, the I'd Say and the Let Me Tell You Something continue into an infinity of snappy comback, retort, redress and general silliness...(giggle, snicker...sigh)

Disclaimer: I do not endorse nor condone the senseless harassment of people in retail or service industry and I wish only the best for all people engaged in those jobs as a means of support.

Personal Vision: My fondest wish is that anyone with desire and drive "sticks it to the man" as often as possible and achieves their own measure of success. However, if you're rude, aloof or ignorant, you will endure the wrath of the slighted...and if running a niche market company that depends on a dedicated fan base is your dream, you're best off not combining these two aspects of a so-called life.

P.S. the phrase "stick it to the man" is a snappy catch-all for one-upmanship, succeeding or just plain getting away with hi-jinks. It is not offered as a sexual euphemism or a cheeky entendre.  :devil:

Probably out clubbing. My friends are far too confusing, I've given up even trying to pigeon hole them into any category. They are just people I know.

However if you've met the kind of people that say thing like this. you will know that they will be wearing Adidas or Burbury and most likely have 5 friends behind them, because they are scared and want to look brave.

What if it was a girl asking?

It never is. I think girls just slot wargaming into those weird things men do, like watch football and scratch themselves.

It never does, they have just spent the last 10 mins outside the window, trying to come up with a witty insult. All they came up with was 'do you have a girlfriend', there isn't really much chance that they could do the dozens.
