Note the triple Turbo Lasers.

EDIT:

Plus, it's a 'standard configuration' Reaver, which I find fun. :)

It seems rather un-detailed. A WIP?

It doesn seem a bit... I dont know... more like the posture of a Knight than a Reaver. Still, I like the missile pod behind it. And, those are the fabled TigerShark 2-2's! They look like a standard TigerShark from here. ????

And, the new Tau Drone fighter for AI! I like that.  :D

The name tag for the Reaver does say 'Work in Progress' so there's probably more detail to come.

As for the design, I'm a bit unsure...  I either really, really like it or I really, really don't - and right now I don't know which it is!

regards,
Reaver

I quite like it, due to the posture change. I've never liked the widely spread legs of the two Reaver models currently produced for Epic.

I suppose it'd be possible to pose the legs slightly further apart if you wanted to.

Overall I like the model. The triple barelled Turbo Lasers look particularly cool. However I agree that it looks more like a WIP since some of the carapace looks a bit bland. The head could use a bit more work as well IMO.

It'd be nice to see the Mars pattern titans done in Epic scale. I know I'd get a few

I especially like how the shoulder carapace harks back to the original Mars Reaver's shoulder pieces... only now they're more integrated into the design as protective armour.

It is indeed a WIP. I took a few pictures of my own:

Looks like the head has sucumbed "to the dark side of the Force" *laugh* - but that aside, I like the detailed cockpit.

Personally, I'd prefer  it if they went with one of the existing styles - classic or the more "mecha" style of the FW Epic models.  Regardless of the detailing, the chassis looks something between the two.  I'm having a hard time picturing any amount of detailing that will resolve that, but I suppose we'll wait and see.

Not that it matters to FW what my opinion is.  There's no way I'll be buying one anyway.

I thought that the Reaver head is one of the two initial variants... the one I didnt like as much, actually.  :(
