Well all you list designers rejoice. The latest Fanatic online comp is for Epic, and what you have to do is design an Epic force from the current 40K universe! Go mad one and all. Details on the specialist games home page. |

I'd like to think many of us would send something in for this. It would be a great way to show that support for epic is alive and well, with players keen on moving things forward. |

*looks at his Gue'senshi list - and notes that since it's already online, it is perhaps too late to enter it* Damn. |

The stipulation is an attachment not in the body of an email so I'm sure pdf would be fine. |

looks very interesting, my only issue is are limited you from introducing new units? Without the detailed unit summary any new units are simply a name.... Hmm, i think ill email a query about this... EDIT: Email sent asking to clarify whether submitted unit details would be considered as part of the entry and whether we are limited to only using units that have a direct current 40k counterpart or if we can extend the fluff within reason.... |

So you do a new and improved updated version! *laugh* And I doubt they want to see new *models*/units and would rather see something that boosts the sale of current models. |

Please email and post the results. My Scions would definitely need the new unit datafaxes. I was going into include them into it. Otherwise I need to start improvising something else. Will do as soon as I hear back. I was considering revitalising the ideas I had for a IG light horse force which would require a few new models too. |

Thats indeed interesting. If no new units, what is with new special abilities? My General Imperial Guard and True Steel Legion would be out of the question because both have some new units. And surely i would'nt steal Chromas Cadian armylist ![]() |

(Mephiston @ Aug. 31 2007,14:08) QUOTE from the current 40K universe Dammit. That discounts my Genestealer Cult! ![]() |

Why? Genestealer cults aren't outwritten. Only problem would be to include new units like Hybrids. |

There have been recent 40k books with genestealer cults in them. I would count them as "current" in terms background, even if there is no 40k list for them. EDIT: oops, posted the same time as BL |
