Did the Imperial Guard Capitol Imperialis ship with the same track section as the Hellbore?

I just got one from an eBay purchase and the track section is the same plastic one that shipped with the Hellbore and it doesn't fit the indentations in the side panels of the CI.

Yes, I've got both ... And interestingly enough ... they are copies of a 1/76 scale M113 APC ... I commanded a Mech Co. of 14 M113s a long, long time ago ...

So I was right that it looked like a plastic tank kit :-)

I got a CI in the mail from eBay and the tracks looked wrong.

Yep, the plastic under carriage, road wheels and tracks are all M113 ... :)

Not just copies, I thought that GW outsourced for these tracks and they were produced by another company.

They were.  I can't remember the company but I had a few of their M113's.  I saw a couple of them in a local model shop a few months back so they are still around.
