Hi to all!! I hope this is the right place to post, this is not a battle report but the photos we take during this staggering event

6000 points worth of Eldar allies with 6000 points of IG to make a great battle against 6000 points of Kaos and 6000 points of Ork.

The winning side this time is the evil side, and with 2 objetive to 1 Ork & Kaos save the day. Enough chat, here the photo:

Very cool pics - and very cool terrain.  Can you give some info on some of the game?  How long did it take to play?  How many turns?  What were the rules?  How long did it take to set up?

We had played a 51,000 three way game last year (17,000 per side) and it took over an hour just to set the armies up.

Great stuff - that's what we like to see!

How long did it take? Did you use the 'simultaneous turns' rule for team play?

Splendid - thanks for the pic show :) :) :)
Looks like those bridges WERE important - the Bloodthirster marching down one of them looks great - as do the Nurgle  plague catapults in a comfortable looking artillery post.
What is the Warhound doing in the canal?

Amazing terrain!

Looks like Space Marine, had order counters out at points in the photo's and some of the stones seem to be colour coded to the orders as well.

You've only given us a little insight please tell us more!

Hi, I was the Chaos player in this bloodbath... amazing anyway!

here are some details on the game

How long did it take to play?

about 13-14 hours (in 2 days)

How many turns?

3

What were the rules?

standard GT scenario

How long did it take to set up?

don't know precisely, Zerloon (Eldar) and the Ork player set up the day before the game...

Looks like those bridges WERE important - the Bloodthirster marching down one of them looks great - as do the Nurgle  plague catapults in a comfortable looking artillery post.

yep, much blood (for the Blood God) shed around all them.

the Bloodthirster is indeed Angron, which I used as a D?mon Prince. Drop-podded in the very first activation of the game, he and his fellows Chosen (and a bunch of Bloodletters) single-handedly destroyed a Shadowsword, several Sentinels, Valkyries and Stormtroopers in a single assault, overthrowing the entire enemy left flank. The enemy Phantom Titan (with a power fist) cowardly refused his challenge in hand-to-hand, one-on-one combat, preferring to "double move and shoot you in the back"... pansy Eldar it is! Subsequently broken, he fearlessly stayed in open view of the remaining Eldar troops, finally rallying in the last turn of the game to celebrate victory with the rest of Chaos forces.

What is the Warhound doing in the canal?

it's one of my Ferals.
don't really know.... probably taking cover, or a bath, or both!  :p

Looks like Space Marine, had order counters out at points in the photo's and some of the stones seem to be colour coded to the orders as well.

we don't have all the required new green order dice (both sides have over 30 activations!), so we reverted to the old-fashioned markers...

the gemstones were extremely useful, too: red are Blast markers, blue represent Shields and green sign activated units.

Wow, incredible board. I was also wondering how long it took to play. I played the 17,000 game with Moscovian. We played till after midnight and we barely made it to the end of turn 2.

Thanks for the answers Drugo.
And I mis-identified poor Angron - d'oh :p
I'll assume the Feral smelt a cat in the canal :)

VERY nice, anyway - the bridge bit sounds excellent. I'd like to see them do such a massive show with Apocalypse...

I'm actually thinking 60 x 60cm boards, so that would be 180 x 240cm with 30cm deployment zones.

got it!
