A Brief History of Epic

In the beginning, there was Space Marine, and it was good. This was the original 6mm WH40K GW game. It was interesting, but took about two hours to play a turn and set out hundreds of pifling counters.

Adeptus Titanicus was then released, and this dealt with titans.

Am I really this old

AT was first and following on from additional rules released for vehicles Space Marine followed.

Yup, AT was the first product released from GW for 6mm gaming. It was followed by Codex Titanicus (rules expansion, mainly based on various WD articles) and Space Marine 1st ed.

Space Marine 2nd was by far the most successful edition. It is the only localized one (unless you want to count the free italian E:A pdf download). I've still got my Epic italian rulebook....

a question about chaos in general. im lookin over my list and it says "predator" i noticed that SM preds have 2 kinds, like in 40k, does the chaos pred have both these options? i modeled 6 nurgle preds from rhinos and some bitz and they look like they have an AC on top and lascannon sponsons. i plan on making more like this so would the "counts as " rule make them viable in a game?

I think the "counts as" rule means you could use the little car from monopoly as your predator if you choose.
