This is what I was able to accomplish before the move to Pennsylvania. The body is complete. There is a new mold that I can use now to cast the main body and the rear assembly (which you can see me holding on in the previous picture). Things that are missing: 1. The pilot. I am having some issues casting this fellow and I may just have to deal without having him on the top. IMO the piece looks 'Necron' enough without him. But I have purchased some low viscosity Smooth-On at the recommendation of Pip Boy and will try casting the model using the new resin. 2. The landing gear. It is too dang fragile to cast. Ultimately it will need to be built for each model or I will just have to deal with keeping the landing gear up. 3. Gauss barrels. The turrets are in place put the weapon barrels are missing. Once again, I just need to drill and glue. 4. Door/ramp. See above.
There are other issues with air bubbles in the mold that I think will be solved with the new Smooth-On.

So, what does this mean for the Necron list? I checked with Corey today and he gave me the green light to say... The Warbarque will be on the next version of the Necron list. I have no stats as of right now but here is what I can tell you- 1. It will not be a flyer. It will be a skimmer war engine. 2. It will have a portal function like the Abattoir and Monolith. 3. Hints about living metal. 4. Corey will be kicking something out "soon".
So, this will be my next project: finishing up the unveiled Warbarque. There is not much left to really do on it if the new resin works well. Once I can get the bubbles out of the piece it will be fine. Then it is just the finishing touches that are left. With that said, I think I could probably make about a half dozen copies from the one mold...

I got my camera working Thursday night (grr) and finally founf the time to post the pics of the Orbs. While not the great quality that some other people get (I'd love to know how people take those close in shots) these are markedly better than the ones I took before.

I noticed after uploading the pic the Orb seems a bit crooked - I must have left it slightly "uncorked" when I put the batteries back in. Hmmm. Anyway, this gives you some scale to the Harvester.
