This is my latest pic and hopefully you guys can guide my hand as I go? Its based on the good 'ole Amiga game The Chaos Engine.



This is the second composition, this time in Photoshop. I do love the natural media of Painter but when you want to get some sharp details done, Photoshop does have the better tools.

Constructive crit is welcome.  :smile:

I'm gonna have to rethink the Chaos Engine methinks... I want to go for a cool, dynamic angle and really show off some skills. Any ideas would be most welcome!  :agree:

Whilst sitting in front of Photoshop, getting more and more frustrated with my lack of direction I managed to get this down. Probably about 40minutes work here. Still not too sure what I'm wanting to do, I'm really not in a good 'place' at the mo with artwork...   :disagree:

This is a speed paint that I promised myself I would do this weekend! I think I can spend way too long on just one image, so this one comes in at only 2hrs. Obviously the polish and detail isn't there but the 'feel' of the image is.

I quite like that 'conceptual' style, kinda of how I picture stuff in my mind when reading a story!

This was originally meant to be a speed paint but much like the German invasion of Russia, I've become bogged-down!!

This is a cropped WIP, 2hrs so far. Lots more to do!

Right, another hour's worth of work on this. I think the Italian tank is basically finished, I just need to work on the tracks a bit more.

I really want to get on with the KV1 - don't want to put so much detail into it; want to convince the viewer that there's detail when all there is is squiggles!!!



I reckon another 2hrs ought to do it?

Have you ever an intention of going back to draw Spaceships? Or Tau or Eldar flyers?

I'm sure I'll touch upon more BFG art in the future.

As for Eldar flyers, I've recently just finished a pic of Eldar Jetbikes - I can't post it up though because I was hoping to use it for the Black Crusade book artwork comp. I've still not heard anything about that from Chroma though...

I'm pretty sure there were no Necrons in any theatre of WWII...  :p  :laugh:

This is set in Russia so you never know what them crazy Soviets experimented with!  :alien:
