Being married to a Pure Blood Irish Woman, I went to see Lord of the Dance and River Dance both when they came to LA. In fact, we have been to a few Amateur dance shows and contests. My favorite though was when I went to a 50th wedding anniversary party and it included a full Bagpipe and Drum group and Irish Dancers. :D

Finished unpacking a Marine Army I bought a while ago. Nice stuff. The only sad part was about four stands had lost one of their Marines. They were not in the box, so I guess it will be "let's try and match the paint job" time.

One thing he did have was all the bikes and land speeders are painted Yellow, but the rest of the force is painted as Dark Angels. Did I miss something in the older fluff where the DAs painted their bikes Yellow? ???

In any case, more then 6000 points for under $80 is not bad.

I think he may have combined two armies and not known it. I think the Bikes and Land Speeders are from another chapter and he did not know what to do with them. Oh well, nothing a little imagination will not resolve. :;):

I also got some of the Star Wars Jawas, going to use them as 15mm alternate alien types.

I am in the process of working with the mechanic to see what can be done for the Van and how much will it cost. We shall see one way or the other. :D

Hi Dafrca,

Thanks for ringing me yesterday. It was very releiving to hear from you. I was beginning to worry... :)

I'm glad to hear that your SM army is coming along...

I don't remember any yellow bikes. ???

One of thelocals did his Marines as the Imperial Fists. We called them the Bannanna Marines.

Maybe these Bikes and Land Speeders should go to him?

Hi Dafrca,

I know what you mean.

We used to have a 28mm 40k Space Marine army that was informally known as the "lemon drops." The owner wasn't fond of the nickname and he used to retaliate by nicknaming the other armies when they called his troops the "lemon drops."

It was mostly in good jest.

I seem to recall a Tyranid army being called "Raid-bait!" :D

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

P.S.
The Bannanna Marines would probably love reinforcements...   :p
