I'm 25.  Don't like it, since it is a quarter century.  26 will be better  :D .

At the moment I have a weeks growths of stuble, sice I'm too exhusted to do anything when I get home from work

Well, I'm 32 and still wondering what happened to the last 16yrs.

Buying a house isn't scary, its the wife and kids that go with it, they age you.

Oi, 28 and counting...

I do have a small beard, I tried to go without one once but even my grandmother told me to regrow it :p

Says a lot about your family if they can't take the look of your clean shaven face  :D

Oh yeah, I forgot to add - no beard, because I can't grow one. Goatee yes, beard no. I currently have no facial hair because the Mrs. does like it.

Unfortunately, I only know of two members who are older than me.  :(  I also seem to be one of the few members who has never played 40K.

DS you are not alone.  I have never played 40k either.  Just no interest in that style of gaming.

As for beardy, I assumed that meant either an old veteran wargamer or "cheesy", not whether you actually had facial hair.

Yes, that was the intent. 'Grognard' is also an applicable word.

Yup, I'm grognard. I've been gaming since about age 12. I started with Risk and Avalon Hill games and at age 14 moved into RPGs with the release of 1st edition D&D. My wargaming was confined to cardboard warriors until the release of Adeptus Titanicus, which was my introduction into tabletop wargaming.

33 here -  beardy and with facial hair - shaving sucks and I'm too lazy to do it more than once a week ?:D

I've been playing all sorts of games for years. Got started with the old D&D red box. My first foray into GW came when a friends of mine got me a job in one of the GW shops! I had never even played before then ? :laugh: . That was over 10 years ago, back in the heyday when GW started to expand into Canada. It was fun back then - we sort of ran things the way it should be run, without too much interference from HQ.

Ah...those were the days....

Saints & Martyrs ! I turned 50 on 21 Dec.06 ... I'm pissed off about most things in life ... What Cpt. Dave ? You're 17 ... I got scars older than that !  And change your call sign !  :;):  I was a real live Infantry CPT in the Real live US Fracking Army for 10? fracking years, '79-'90.  Was a Cadet for 4 years before that ... Got two sets of wings and bunch of other medals and bagdes and crap on uniforms that are collecting dust in my closet ... By the time I was 23 I was leading a Rifle Plt, in the 101 Air Asslt Div. When I made it to 30, I was a CPT, had 3 deployments with the 101 to Central America, and 2 back-to-back tours on the DMZ in the ROK with the 2ID. Then by the time they said they didn't need us any more in '90, I had 3 trips to the desert and 2 to West Germany with a Sep Mech Bde of the 18th ABN Corps ...  I'm old and very, very bitter ...  :angry:  Plus on Meds?from the VA ... Oh yeah ... have a nice day ... Kiddies !  :angry:  :)
