It's really that simple.

Sadly, that's the truth... why can't GW see that?

Because they have an agenda from the Men in Black. Now we just need to figure out what it is......

Thus starts the X-Files Episode: The GW Conspiracy

I think attributing it to a conspiracy gives GW too much credit. That would mean they've actually spent time thinking about it. Personally, I think a better explanation is that the powers-that-be at GW have all had a lobotomy.  :(8:

Oh not GW. I think the Men in Black are the authors and GW is just the poor dolt who is used in their dark plots.  :alien:

I'm reaaaally liking this thread.  Fun GW bashing (non-hateful), Swedish Pr0n, what-ifs...

Okay, here we go.  Use 3d modellers to design the minis and produce them with new 3d printing technology (cheaper than you think).  Have a model for EVERYTHING there is a rule for.  Offer terrain that allows things like hive worlds, desolate wreckages, etc.  Release BFG ships that are actually closer to scale (without getting stupid).  Convert everything to imperial measurement (jk:p ).  Develope enough depth to warrant dividing the book into 2 parts: 1:main rules 2:armies of Epic.  You might even be able to justify small codices if you Elaborate and offer enough options.  I'd like to see tokens/counters also not just for Epic but every game... this adds a cool element to the game.  Maybe have the units parallel the ones in 40k a little more closely to match the modern rule sets.  It seems a little to detached on one side or the other.  Introduce strategems much like the Cities of Death stuff that's coming out.  I'm a really big fan of this sort of thing as it really seems to add a bit of Murphy's Law to the equation.  Having someone drop an orbital bombardment on an objective on the last turn could really screw things up eh?  That and have the Swedish Volleyball Team deliver my daily status reports with a Vente Caramel White Chocolate Mocha and a hot oil rubdown.

The first thing I would do would be reproduce the really rare OOP minis, starting with Psy-Titans, working my way through Exodites and then anything else I could think of. Then I would move on to the rare OOP minis like just about everything from the AT era and all the Squat minis. As for new minis, I would complete the TO&E for all the armies so that no one would have to worry about having to scratchbuild or proxy minis. Most importantly, I would sell all of the minis at reasonable prices, like just barely above operating costs.

Amen!!

Not for the first time I can't disagree with D/S.

Cheers

James

Why not just play at 28mm scale and for a playing area... well I don't think anyone else is using the Moon right now...

Lord =I=

Course we just need to figure out how to transport them there and then how to stop the Greys from stealing our minis once we do. ?:p

I don't think the Vree like being called "Greys" - it hurts their feelings. I think they prefer "pigmentally-challenged"!!
:D
Sorry- still in state of shock after pictures of Swedish volleyball team- am off for a lie down.....
Cheers

Hi Guys,

I think if I had a license... I would restore some of the lines and offer an archive service.

I would also work on getting Epic back into the mainstream.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

1st step - relocate to 3rd world country or simple go in partnership with neil in Bangladesh. Sort out warehouse shipping point in UK (and if I'm genourous US).
2nd step - release everything ever made for Epic
3rd step - have one balanced army for each 'race'
4th step - look at whats selling, sort out box set and army sets based on that - lower army price raise individual price.
5th step - get the rest of the army lists done
6th step - do stuff like dark eldar
7th step - look at doing new models/resculpts of old moulds.
8th step - buy out other ranges and work them in somehow (step 8 being of course take over 6mm sci-fi world)

And something I've love to do at every step - make the damn scale the same!!! Though I fear how much it would cost to rescale the range I suspect this would just be scaling the plastic infantry to match the metal vehicles.

I'd be happy with infantry and vehicles being the same scale. I can live with Titans, CIs, Leviathans, etc. being out of scale compared to everything esle.
