I ended up just getting a few GZG Full Thrust ships, and not much else.

Hi Ian

Good to meet you and Doug for the first time. And always good to see Paul and yet more of his amazing painting. Even with my contact lenses in I am sure I still could n't see all details on Logan Grimnar!!

Wish my wallet had escaped as lightly. Bought 4 small bits of FW Epic scenary and single blister of Fighta Bommerz. But the real damage was done at Figures in comfort stand. ?300 buys you a lot of figure cases- just as well my mate brought his car!!

Spend today putting my figures in new cases.  Fitted most of my Orks in a Mini Ultimate (4 trays) with my LOTR & Slaughterloo stuff moved into Super Ultimate (12 trays) case each. Tomorrow I have to sort out my squats and nids, with rest of Orks & IG being left to do at the weekend.

Cheers

James

Sigh, I came but since I went with air and bus I arrived too late to meet anyone... :(

Well, for the next time...

Good to meet up with all those I saw once again.

The event seemed to lack atmoshphere for me this time. As usual I spent a lot of time meeting people & sorting out work-related stuff but the show still had nothing which I was eager to get away to see this year. It was more about meeting up with old friends & online contacts than the show itself.

Still, I came away with a good selection of goodies to paint up, including a recon pack of epic tau, which should see paint sometime soon!
