Hi Dafrca,

I was recently recalling the really excellent 15mm fold-up cardboard minis that SJG used to make for Traveller/Striker 15mm games and floorplans.

I found two links for 15mm minis or related minis:

Battlestations (A new 15mm game that I've played... ):

http://battlestations.info/

Battlestations Boardgamejunky game review:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/12350

------

A generator for Star Trek fold-up miniatures:

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Thanks Maksim, yes these do look interesting. The Humans are of below average sculpting and I would not want to buy them. The Aliens however, offer some good ideas. I really like the 3 legged bug alien. Once they have the other sculpts out, I was going to pick up some along with a few of the others just to see them.

As for 15mm, I also picked up a few Jawas from the Star Wars Micromachine line. I am going to use them as an Alien Race. They are not so short in 15mm.  :;):

In life, everything has rhythms. Some are obvious, others are more subtle. The four seasons for example, we all see them in one form or another. I see the same thing in a place like this forum. There is a rhythm that exists between the posters, the overall forum itself, and with the item it supports (Epic & BFG in this case).

When any of these rhythms are changed, for good or bad, it can be disturbing. There have been changes in the past few months and those changes have made the rhythm change. This is not bad per say, but it does require us to adjust to the new rhythms.

I know that the reality is, we are more then just a support forum for a game. We have become more by choice. As such, the changes can disturb us in a very emotionally charged way. We need to hang on and I am sure things will settle into a new rhythm soon. Changes, subtle changes, need time to settle in and become part of the overall rhythm.

The past year and a half has been very disturbing for me ... I keep hoping to wake up ... Epicomms and Epic modeling is an oasis in my journey thru the desert  ...      :;):

You need to reach out and feel the rhythm your life is trying to find. Often when things are too messed up, we are fighting our natural rhythm.

I have also found many people know what they need to do to be happy. Listen to your soul, it knows.

Well, I might have to think about that ... maybe what I thought I want isn't what I need ... Thanks again, Daf ...

Hi Dafrca,

For the most part, I think you are right.

I disagree with you about everyone taking to the rhythms already in place here. Several individuals are not becoming one with the community. Enough said.

It would also be nice if we could chat. I almost feel like you are avoiding me.

And that's too bad since you are one of the people I am most in tune with here, Dafrca.

I'm glad that I convinced you to return to Epicomms.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

i just heard about your car accident today.

I hope you, you family and anyone else involved were not seriously injured and that the car and fence is the worst of the damage.

very best wishes,
Paul

I have a Van that is died, but no car accident.

Transmission went out and they say the shocks are bad but it was just old and died on me.

No one was in danger, thank god.
