Actually, no. It charges a 10% final value fee.... and then a listing fee.... and then PayPal charge you a transaction fee, who are an eBay company. In some cases, you are lucky to get around 60% of the final price. Plus, they now include the postage costs in the fee calculation because a load of idiots sold items for 99p + £300 shipping.

eBay waves the insertion fee for the first 50 items a month, assuming the starting price is low (~$5?). The final value fee is 9% for most auctions. PayPal charges 2.9% + $0.30 for each transaction.

Maybe ebay.com does, but ebay.co.uk doesn't, unless we have a free listing weekend.

Is this universal (so to speak) or a geographical thing?
Are Paypal's charges higher in certain parts of the world?

Yes, in France paypal charges 0.25€ + 3.4%. You can check this website to have an idea of paypal fees when you sell minis and get paid with paypal ;)

Which is one of the reasons why Exodus Wars moved away from using Paypal for our online e-commerce.

I like the semaphore wielding brass skeleton at the top.

That is a bit much and I don't normally mind the skulls.

I should "persuade" one of GW's artistic directors to accompany me here:

This is why 90% of my post pub ideas get shot down. Members of the EW development forums don't mince their words.

Dismally uninspired, and simultaniously offensive. Awesome.

Probably hugely expensive too.

How many of them are you going to need? I mean, even the most dedicated skull lover can only want one for his terrain library :S.
