I can't believe you did that in only 40 minutes. Looks great. It reminds me of air combat over MiG Alley.

Nice, Stug!!  I get dizzy looking at it which is a good thing.  It gives the viewer a feeling of spinning (barrel rolls anyone?).  Who are they fighting by the way? All I see are Imperial craft; are they fighting each other or some off-board enemy craft?

FYI I have no forgotten you or your prizes.  The Warbarque cast came out 'okay' and I've been slowly filling the little air bubbles with green stuff and smoothing it out.  The Chaos Androids are ready and waiting.  The copy of Raiders is not done yet, of course...  I'll have the models ready by the end of this weekend.

Cheers Moscovian!

There's actually one Imperial fighter in the bottom left and the rest is Orks!

So how's Raiders coming along?

BTW, could you PM me as the forum won't let me PM you and I need to give you my new home address for when you send the stuff?

Naval Actions

An Ork battleship is pursued by the Imperial Navy.

Another quick pic to exercise my artistic muscles. This was done in about an hour. Looking back at it, I wish I'd done the sky a bit brighter. I also feel that I need to work on my clouds more - I keep trying for a 3d effect but they always end up turning out quite flat?

I disagree.  The clouds came out just fine.  If there was anything to criticize, the sunbeam on the right breaking through the clouds doesn't seem in line with where the sun is.  But that is more of a nitpick.

The lighting looks really good.  I really think thats what wins it for me.  Its kind of like you have used a very rough style in the general creation of the image and then used the careful lighting effects to make it into a really cool abstract art effort.
