Hi Guys,

I wait for DVD... so I'm only current to Season 2, but I've heard some pretty bad things. It's always bad when Hollywood politics and degeneracy invade otherwise good programming.

Very sad.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

great post W/I. Agree with almost all of your comments and yes the character development was the highlight of the series, interspersed with the best battle scenes yet

Plus the (probable) revealing of the last 5 cylons. How cool was that. Especially the 4 who meet. A couple of them I had guessed from earlier episodes as "would n't it be amusing if so and so was a cylon. But 2 of them caught me blind- I was gobsmacked about what that revealed about the lengths of time the cylons had gone to to prepare.

I found this bit of the series hard to swallow though. ?It just didnt make sense to me - most of the characters had far better opportunities to enact their plans. ?I think there is something else afoot here...

Pity I'll have to wait another year to find out! ?

It should be reiterated that the decision to end BSG came from the creators/producers, not the networks.  This makes me feel much better since their decision is being driven by creative desire rather than loss of viewers.

The last I read was that viewership was up season over season, with their biggest gains in women 25-35 (I would have never guessed that despite my wife being a huge fan).

This makes sense to me - my fiancee and her daughter got hooked from early in the Second Season.  Before, I had to ask if it was okay to wathc an episode.  After, they were begging me to put the next one on!  :D
