The CC will run. Even though there are only 6, I think 6 is enough for it to run ... means we will play each other once ... that will be nice and friendly :)

Have had a quick look at the rules pack and have emailed to Braveheart the following comment

I think that you have misunderstood this

If a Drop Pod scatters such that it will leave the table it does not leave the table, but is placed
as close to the table edge as possible. There after the normal Drop Pod rules apply.

I think that it should be

If a Drop Pod scatters such that it in an enemy Zone of Control it is placed as close to this point as possible whilst remaining on the table.

This still allows for the drop pod to scatter off the table if initially placed too close to the edge, but not if it lands over a large formation.

Yep if you scatter off the table you are too keen and must pay. However you cannot be forced off the table by the enemy. They must use dice and tape measures to destroy you.

incidentally I am torn between Drop Army Of Doom™ and Siege Army Of Doom (patent pending).

Though this would only be to try and play Matt to teach him a lesson about only allowing toned down rules :)

Actually I could try and construct a list conforming to the point reductions and play that, as a proof of concept. Nothing in the rules says you can't use less points is there?

Nope, only that you can't go over, voluntary handicaps allowed and encouraged ?if I have to play siegers ?:p
