Anyway Moscovian: I am interested in what project the BFG Craftworld Eldar pieces will pop up!

I'm sad to report no progress on my projects.

Those will be on the Dark Eldar Barge of Pleasure.  No mystery there.  It may be a few weeks out but the pieces you sent will be going to good use.  :)

Like the Orb conversion thus far! :)  But does it make anyone else on here think of the 1990's UK game show 'The Crystal Maze'? :;): :D

Thanks, Firestorm.  The Aeonic Orb is going slowly because of the spikes I want to put on it.  I'm finding that the process is slow and I only recently found a way to speed it up.  I'm hoping the new method will allow me to finish it up by the weekend.

I was talking with Corey about the Orb itself - mine differs from his vision in that the base is too wide compared to the Orb housing.  I'm kinda bummed but I have no way of making the batteries and light fit into a smaller base.  Besides, the base I have now has a rubber seal that is perfect for pulling it apart without breaking the model.   I hope the final product will come out fine.

Dad's tip for the day: work on your stuff every day.  Even if it is for five minutes.  I spent about 3 minutes this morning cutting spikes and last night I spent about 5 minutes doing the same thing.  It may not be much time, but by the end of the week you'll have SOMETHING done.

I've been trying to get into that habit also. It is amazing how much you can get done over the a period of time. I've found that spending half an hour just to get organized can really payoff in the long run.

I have been thinking of setting my alarm clock 30 minutes early, and using that quiet time to get something done - even just a base coat on a single model each day.

I often wake up bit earlier than I have and that really works. I recommend. :)

Yuk! To me that sounds like a negative reinforcement schedule guaranteed to put you off painting for life!!  :;):

I paint almost ever working day 20-45 minutes before I drive to work!

Daughter & Wife asleep, fresh mind = good for painting.

Same here. I'm not a morning person to begin with, never mind waking up half an hour early and being coherent enough to paint.

Unfortunately a minion of Nurgle has once again paid me a visit, resulting in irritating coughing fits. In any case, I hope to get a good deal of painting done this weekend, especially since the motnh is drawing to a close for ToTW and I'm only about half done for this month.

OK, still haven't locate suitable goo covered offspring photo, but I did upload some race ones :).

Here's the starting stash:

I'm inclined to realistic camo schemes, so I've decided on a plain dark green scheme (Dark Angels green over black UC) for the troops and the vehicles.  I might get a bit more adventurous for the bikes and Overlord though.

First completion...the Warrior Brotherhood:

And the Leviathan before any insignia.

I don't mind the scheme on the troops but it looks a little dark on the Leviathan....might have to get something a bit lighter....hmm.

I also slipped in some Dreads to round out my Iron Warriors.
