Excellent!  I have reached out to Corey to ask him what his interest might be.  I'm a little bit concerned about him just because at last correspondence he was suffering from a respiratory condition (mold in his apartment or some such thing). So I really hope he is okay.
If he is then we should be able to get something going on.  I looked over that list briefly and liked what I saw.  Drawing on existing models is a smart way to go.
Tallarn history (God I love wiki!) looks brutal.  First the Horus Heresy, then the Chaos Gate, and now possibly the site for another rough battle...  I have some ideas that I will PM to you (just an outline) and we can start brainstorming, discussing how we want to potentially do this.

Others please continue to throw out ideas! :alien:

I agree that there are testing issues for all three armies being proposed (Tallarn, Necron, and DE).

Tallarn is very new, Dark Eldar is not much more than a year old and the Necron would oddly enough be the 'solid' army list.

I'm thinking this project will take us into the latter half of 2007.  Being that most of this type of thing will be fiction writing it will give the community more time to field test the Tallarn list.  Also, the fiction writing may bring out ideas for the Tallarns / DE / Necrons that were not previously considered, making them more colorful.

The Dark Eldar list was written in such a way and IMO has had a lot of success.  Xisor, Scarik, and I almost lobbed nuclear bombs at each other during some of those discussions, but it really was worth it.

And -in the end- I won't mind if the Supplement needs to be updated now and then.  It is what is beautiful about Epic: the living rulebook mentality.

As for Squats... I'll reach out to ePilgrim whose Demiurg list IMO is probably the most balanced of the Squat lists (I know I'll take a few lumps for that comment).  It may be too much to do four armies, but let's see what Corey and E&C say first.

Isn't Tallarn used in Imperial Armour 3: The Taros Campaign?

I have no idea.  My guess is though that if such an Epic supplement were done to incorporate the Tau, we would find ourselves with the Elysians being featured over any other IG list.
By the way, Evil & Chaos, Corey, and the Dark Eldar team (Xisor, Scarik, and I) have begun knocking our heads together to flush out a storyline.  My guess is this will take some time to work out, but it looks like the Supplement is well on its way to being created.

I'm not going to give away anything plot wise, but here is what we have on the drawing boards:
1. Necrons, Tallarn IG, and Dark Eldar list authors are all on board.
2. Will include full artwork and list breakdowns.
3. Full storyline of the three forces coming together in some Epic fashion. :;):
4. Possible scenarios for the armies.
5. Proxy and modeling section for the Necrons and Dark Eldar.  IG won't be too much of an appearance here since virtually all of the models are available through SG and/or FW.

I have already committed to building a Dark Eldar force and a Tallarn force to go with my Necrons.  Not sure how things will go on the time line or if the models will be up to snuff, but if I can get them cranked out by the end of writing the fiction (group effort thankfully) we may be able to have pictures of the forces clashing on the battlefield.

Of course all this could fall through easy.  My feeling, however, is that we have a good group of people working on this now.  E&C has some great ideas and good working knowledge of the fiction.  Corey has got to be the easiest person in the world to collaborate with.  Scarik, Xisor, and I have worked together before on the Dark Eldar (another collaboration) so the relationship is already there.  And we all want this to happen.

My ultimate goal is to show SG and FW that if FANS can put together something inspirational to the Epic community, then there is no reason why they can't.  If we simply end up with an excellent piece of work, then that will be fine too. :)

I wish the 'epic-supplement' team all the best!

Darn, this is the advantage of a strong epic community in here, the bfg idea got response but it is minor.

I need to lure some souls into this place! :alien:

This is something that I have found that is different between the BFG and Epic communities. I put it down to the fact that the Epic players have had to keep enthusiastic and tight to get through the difficult times with no official releases or support. I have found that, in general, there are less BFG players willing to put themsleves on the line, but those that do really do go the full amount. For the BFG suppliment idea, I would recommend that you post on the main SG site, the Yahoo Group and even Port Maw (just dont annoy the admins!).

Let me know if there is anything that I can contribute.

Of the three Inquisitorial armies, the Deathwatch have been playtested the most. If you are interested in an Ordo Xenos Task Force list being the Imperial part of this, let me know.

Not sure a Tallarn list should be an armoured regiment, however. The desert rats always seemed to rely on infantry and cavalry as I recall.

The Desert Rats are a British tank regiment, which became famous in WWII.
