Tournament - First Company Veterans

I was speaking to Andy at the veterans evening on thursday night and there are 11 (12 with andy as stand-in) players .
The tables were set up in the right hand corner of the room (from the view of the web cam also slighty out of view).
There was the usual amount of scenery (for warhammer world) 9 or 10 per table but luckily andy has requested 7 tables so it gives an extra 10 pieces of scenery to go on the 6 which will be used.

I will be trying to use Guard again.

How did the Tyranids play especially the winged warriors.In a few games last week against Bills Nids the list worked fine and we had no problems with the winged warriors.

Hi, I didn't find the winged warriors that bad, I played with one Assault Group (3 Warriors) with wings and these worked well with my gargoyles.

I think that there would be a problem if I had the numbers of gargoyles to only play these and no other common brood as I would have a very fast army. So maybe a restriction on the number of winged warriors in comparison to non-winged, say every second or third synapse group that contains warriors may up grade them to winged?

Chris, I think that the presence of the dragon ship could really restrict the number of times that I bring out my Speed Freaks in the future. It would do a huge amount of damage to that army.
