yup.
For the record though a battle company consists of two tactical formations (of 6 stands each) + 1 Assault formation and 1 devastator formation (4 stands each). ...Which just so happens to make up the 100 Marines in a company. Although I certainly also enjoy the SM2 rules the company sizes on the cards weren't entirely accurate compared to the fluff.

I have the files saved at work (cos i couldn't get the laptop to access them for some reason) so i'll have a look tomorrow.
Will it be listed in the Codex Astartes List?

Yes it has.
Suggestion, the rules and army lists are a free download from GW/SG You should do it if for no other reason then just for the fun of looking them over.

Do you mean the downloads on this site?? | No, I ment the files over on the Specialist Games website. The EA lists and rules are there as a PDF.
Sorry, should have been more clear.

Quote (SaddlerSteve @ 08 May 2006 (19:21)) | Still firmly entrenched in the SM2 era i use the old square bases. Thats:
5 tactical marines on a base for a tactical stand. 5 assault marines on a base for an assault stand. 4 tactical marines and 1 devastator in the centre of the base for a devastator stand.
Then 6 stands in each detachment + the command stand to make the full company? |
I have a boatload of the square bases left from the Space Marine and Epic 40K boxed sets, but I'm planning on using the narrow ones when I get around to painting up my Imperial Guard and Space Marine forces. If you break down and buy some recent figures, I'd be happy to swap (up to a certain limit... I still have a lot of Ork and Eldar figures that I'm planning on putting on the square bases).
