I actually have considered buying like a tenner?s worth of shares just so would get to go to the AGM and ask difficult questions if I felt like it.  Haven?t done anything about it though.  I think asking too many awkward questions might be counter productive anyway.

So, sure, if you have 3 or 4 million pounds sterling lying about, go for it.

If I had that cash spare I could almost afford the EA minis I would like at the new price rates...plus postage to Oz of course

Ok, so all of us here contribute money to form a small investment corperation. So to get the funds together and we tap everybody world wide who plays Epic-A to contribute. Which, of course, means they will have a controlling intrest in our little corperation here.

So we end up with a corperation, let's call it Armageddon Investments, which has a couple thousand share holders (If we are lucky) who are contributing funds to a corperation whose sole goal is to prevent GW from axing Epic-A.

Obviously all the thousands of share holders of Armageddon Investments aren't going to be dashing off to the Uk and flood into GWs share holders meeting (Now being held at Wembly Stadium, tickets five bucks at the gate) to cast their 0.0000000000000000001% vote to save Epic-A.

So that means we would have to appoint a CEO to represent us, and pay him/her for lobbying GW on our behalf. Now we don't want this person to be ripping us off so we are going to need to appoint a CFO and a SVP to make sure the funds invested are spent properly.

Now anybody with the letters C-E-O after their name on the door are too far above the mainstream to actually go into the board room and speak for us with GW so they are going to have to have a Corperate Spokeperson that will do that for them so they can remain behind their big desk and keep all of us investors happy telling all that they are doing on our behalf.

Of course that Coperate Spokesperson is going to need a Speech Writer to make sure that the opinion he/she is bringing to the meeting with GW is clear, concise and to the point, so that Epic-A doesn't end up on the trash heap.

But then again that Coperate Spokesperson themselves is going to have to be careful what they write, so to protect Armegeddon Investments from a possible failure in proper, lawful, communication we will need to assign the corperation a lawyer. Heck we are going to need one to set up the corperation in the first place so we might as well keep the one that did it and give him this job.

Now we all know that it is really the secretaries that run the offices in business, so each of the above are going to need at least one to keep them orgainized and to type up all the important paperwork. This of course means we will need to hire someone to run the seceratary pool, shouldn't have much trouble finding someone.

Now all of this means that we will have to get pens, desks, paper, etc. so we are going to have to hire some office boys to run all of this around to the important people and their secretaries, along with carrying out mail deliveries within the structure of the corperation. Of course they are going to need a boss to run there section also, but those shoes are easily filled.

Well, with all of these employees there is now no doubt that Armageddon Investments is going to need to either hire an accounting service to do the payroll, or do it internally. Well as outsourcing is pretty popular in the executive world we will outsource payroll/accounting and we will rent our computers so we don't need to hire our own people to take care of them.

It just might work

Hey I will volunteer to become the company SVP, any other takers

Jaldon :p

And I can be the CFO.

Now we just need the head honcho- who wants to be a CEO??
:D
Cheers

James

I vote either Primarch or L-4 - anyone with that amount of Epic mini's deserves to be spokes-person for the Epic cause! :D

Market capitalization for GW is ~95 million GBP.

Controlling interest in a coporation is usually in the 10-20% range. ?~3-5% is needed just for serious influence. ?(That's US market figures, but I assume Britain is similar). ?Not to mention GW is only traded in the UK, so you have additional expenses involved in purchasing overseas securities.

So, sure, if you have 3 or 4 million pounds sterling lying about, go for it. ????

Hi!

With thier decreasing profit reports one would have to be insane.... ?:;):

Primarch

One would assume that if we took it over, that would also be on the priority list.

As long as we're playing fantasy, I get to play how I want. ?:p

Hi!

True. With the elimination of most of their stores, and a lowering of price to an acceptable level, sales and the bottomline should improve.
