On the day in question I will dressed as my usual Flemish mercenary scum. Along with 100 others at the end of year banquet for our units get 'tipsy' ceremony.
For Traitors day (Guy Forkes Catsbey and Co,Nov 5th)
I will be off for 14 days of solid Epic, beer, smokes and other wargames! Wahoo!
Ironicaly it will be in a farm just outside Tweksbury which is were I got my leg squashed.
? ? ? ?
14 days of gameing even on crutches is going to be fun. If one of the guys has a digital camera I will try and get a few shots.

Ah... a Lowlander as opposed to a Highlander. The 51st Highland Div. of WWII is well known, but there was a 52nd Lowland Div. also.
IIRC, almost 1/3 of the troops in the UK Forces are or were Scots... ?
As we "speak", about 800 troops of the Black Watch are heading north to Baghdad... Good hunting, Lads!

IIRC the regiments are Scottish, but most of the the troops in them may well not be Scottish themselves. Some of the Scots units were going to be amalgamated due to the low number of Scots joining up.
Not so with the Welsh units, seems we like getting shot at?

Go for the kilt, it's always a hit with the ladies. Do get a decent one though; cheap ones don't work. I'm sure there is plenty of kilt places in your neck of the woods.

Actually I take that back - I am a supreme example of virtous chastity, hence the vicars outfit and thus do not fit the description .

I'm not planning anything extraordinary.
Will sit at home, painting more sexy Battle Sisters, listening to Hammerfall's Way of the Warrior set on such volume that it almost literally hammers out the brain from one's head, and will finally try to get the Callidus finished.
