Hmmm....A new question for you..... Can she actually sing?!

I heard her live on Radio1 a couple of weeks ago and she was seriously bad, really- it was a kinda *cringe* moment, it was so awful, especially when the DJ and the people in the studio had to clap and say it was great..... :laugh:....she did say that Busted (snigger) were crap in the interview afterward though, so that put her up in my estimation....hehe

lol...... :D

Ok, so she may be the greatest thing to come out of Canada since, well, erm... Oh, I got one Terance And Phillip from South Park. But now way is she as good as Canadian Rockers Nickelback!!!!!

As for her singing, she has about as much musical tallent as my next-door-neighbours (sp?) cat, which howls at 5am when its hungry. Damn thing - go hunt some god damn birds instead of waking me up!!!

But if her singing was as good as she looks - just imagine it for a second

Oh I gonna get mad... her singing has improved drastically, when she was live in Brixton she was superb, even though her Mum had to help her out with one song (she had a marraca and a tamborgine).

But she has done some very bad live songs in the past... IN THE PAST!!!  :D

So, the (alleged) appreciation for Ms Lavigne is based upon your status as a connoisseur of the female form, rather than any expression of her musical ability?  :D

I must admit that I heard her on TV and was not so impressed with her singing ability. Not really my type either.

ahh, she isn't that bad. She played a halfway decent set at the Brixton accadamy show.

For the record, the official story of events is that I was dragged there by my ex-gf. no body proof of anything else..... :L  *looks around suspiciously*

oh, and she is doing the MTVicon tribute to Metallica :l

Yeah, that doesn't sound good. Metallica and Avril are a work appart. I hope she doesn't kill one of the songs she covers. And I hope she never reads this thread!!

Oh my God! That is a fantastic image. Avril does Fuel. It almost makes me want to see that!  :D This is the kind of thing that is really bad 80% of the time, and absolute genius on rare occassions.
