So far she has not noticed the slowly growin Eldar invasion. I rather suspect it has to do with our ridiculously hectic pre-holiday schedule, but regardless of the cause I'm looking forward to the eventual discovery.

Oh, I forgot to update this. The very night I posted that she hadn't noticed, I was sitting on the couch and I hear...

"NEAL!"
(the couch is in the same room, so yelling isn't exactly necessary, and the tone matched the way she sounds when she is scolding the dog)

"Have you been putting army men in the Christmas village?"
(as if there might be someone else in the house who was putting "army men" in the village - I know it was rhetorical, but the incredulousness of the way she asked it was awesome)

I desperately wanted to play it straight and try to lay it off on someone else (the dog would have been fabulous), but after the above outburst I couldn't hold it together and just started cracking up.

Mission accomplished.
