Bases for Tanks???

I do think it would give my armies a more universal look, and completed feel by basing vehicles too. Maksim- How does it look using pennies as bases?  I was sticking to squares/rectangles to keep it uniform, and thought circles may throw it off.  However, I do think dreads and things would probably look better on Circular bases. Oh and Signius- Have you received your stuff yet?  You should have done.  Give me a PM when you do so I know, ta.

Shadow-Hunter, Maksim- How does it look using pennies as bases? I think it looks so much better than the clunky square bases. Did you receive the photos I sent out? I had photos of an Epic40k SM Dreadnought based on a penny as well as a LandSpeeder and a few other pieces. US pennies are about 3/4" in diameter while British pence / pennies are just a tad bigger. I mostly use US pennies since I have more than I can ever use! I'll be using pennies all the time now that I know how cool they look and how affordable they are! Now that E-A is so flexible in basing, it's no longer a big deal how you base (not that I cared too much before!). I really owe JJ some compliments for his excellent basing guidelines. I'm very happy with them.

I only wish he'd specify which cavalry basing that the studio armies will use. I'm guessing the Epic-40k x3 per Warmaster 20x40mm base kind.
