Well I guess from my point of view, it really doesnt matter how we do it. I think it would be great to get the GW stores involved (down here in Oz, Specialist stuff is only Mail order) and they've said that they are happy to have this sort of thing happen.

I would prefer to say something like lets organize it with enough time to get it in the White Dwarf (that means at least 3 months in advance down here), that way we could also cover all the forums that are out there with info and make sure everyone knows.

For me (a shift worker), I'd probably pick the first weekend in October :O , yes I know its a long way off but thats looking like a free weekend (depending on what work does with me....)

I guess its all ideas and I'd love to hear from others out there as well. :)

We should hold Epic Assault then if CAL and yourself end up making it over to WA.  That would make for an awesome Epic day.

I don't think we can get our little event into White Dwarf.

Firebase, yes, but not White Dwarf.

Besides, Firebase is closer to being Epic's target audience anyway ('Veteran' 40k players).

Well if we can't get into WD we could at least get some form of poster created and displayed in various GW's and independent game stores? It may bring some people out of the woodwork.

I don't think that'd be a problem.
