I have solidmetal dices (which I use as Objectives) and they are _quite_ heavy, so if I would try to aim dices at enemys miniatures they would really feel the blow!

We use a dice roller box ... so usually the dice never bounce out ... :)

You would feel the blow too, shortly after impact.  :;):

Dice rolling box is the way to go.  Although I used to play with this guy James who would get excited and miss even when it was inches from his fingertips.
