Out of interest, when was the last time Jervis publically wrote or commented on EA , its current state and way (or lack of) ahead?

I chatted with Jervis face to face about Epic a couple of months back, and will have the opportunity to do so again in two weeks.

His proffered options for the way ahead last time were:

- Set up a fully seperate company the sell and promote Epic (And only Epic) in a similar manner to ForgeWorld.

- Let Forgeworld take over the rules & model development for the future.

I remember they were buried near concept sketches from the recent SM command squad plastic release. So, perhaps 2 to 3 years.

If you look at the small drawing in the first pic Otter posted, you can see it looks a bit like a Rhino... they're copying my conversion!!!  :p  :p  :p

Maybe Moscovian and Markconz would be more productive members of the ERC than some of those in it. (excluding Neal from that comment)

Flattering! Thanks for the vote of confidence.  However given the amount of playing I've done lately there are probably a lot more people who would be better at ERC duties than me.  Putting me on the ERC might be a step backwards  :p

I think I'll stick with the creative things for now (helping push out the supplements).

E&C alternative lists in epic for each of the 40k races was still the plan, not introducing new units into the existing lists.

You're wrong. :)

Honest.

Whom we should believe? You or Jervis...

If only GW would be smart enough...

Ah well. No more epic purchaces for me(or anything GW related, barring paints). GHQ&Mongoose all the way.

???

I'm reminded of Laughing Gravy.

"What's that?"
"It's a letter."
"What's it about?"
"It's about me."
"Is it good news or bad news?"
"Yes and no."
"What do you mean, yes and no?"
"'Tis and 'tisn't."
Etc.

I'll be quite surprised if we see Epic other than AI ... But, we'll wait and see ...  And if E&C is JJ, we have been infiltrated ! :O

I dont see how the first option ois possible given the copyright issues involved and GW's strict attitude towards copyright enforcement.

What is your opinion of how he is taking all of this?  He pretty much was Specialist games, so it like watching his creations get shelved.  I wouldnt be a happy chappy
