Like Van I think some aeronautic theme would be good. I kind of like the idea of a single Imperial fighter escaping a huge air armada of pursuing Ork aircraft.

stugs,love the alpine scence :cool:  :O  ,really stunning and fresh :cool:  ,i'm not too sure about the red glow/reflection on the vader? figure tho' :confuse: but it's  still a really good compostion  :cool: keep up the great work(as always )

I was hoping to get this pic done this week but it looks like I'm gonna have to put a lot of hold at the mo - I'm moving house next week hopefully so things are likely to be VERY hectic for the next two weeks or so!

Incredible stuff.

That website and some of the ones it links to cry out to be downloaded and sifted for artwork!

Maybe guys  more knowledgeable than I have a list of such sites where 40k stuff can be known?

As for hasty retreat I've always liked the humour inherent in opening the lift/elevator etc and seeing something unexpected. Mayhaps a slavering enemy facing a guardsman in a lift who is pressing the up button? :)

I'm hopefully getting my net connection up and running next week so with any luck I'll be able to tear myself away from Combat Mission and start doing some artwork again!  :D

My triumphant return to the net at home!

Yes, I've finally got a broadband connection after moving house just over three week's ago. Although I've not done any artwork, I managed to scrape this one together last night in about 40 minutes.

Absolutely fantastic. :cool:

If I may be slightly critical (And I'm only being so because this is a great piece to begin with. I certainly couldn't do anything half as good myself :;): ): The air intake on the Ork fighta in the centre of the pic looks slightly strange perspective wise. It seems it should be skewed slightly to the left and perhaps downsized a bit. As it is it gives the impression of a fisheye lens distortion which doesn't appear in the rest of the pic.
Again this is a very minor detail and the pic looks great regardless :;):
