Tas, Congrats on the promotion Mate, or should I say Sir. How is Canberra treating you? I am still in the desert and have a little under two months to go, and like you the gods have smiled on me and I am now a Warrant Officer. I now have to answer to this strange Sir title. Looking forward to getting home, I will be up the road in Sydney when I get back, so I might have to get down your way catch up for a game.

Hey the Vietnam era stuff, are you using Flames of War rules with this. I have seen some rules modified for Vietnam. Cool looking minis mate/sir.

Cheers
Aaron

I was wondering what rules set you used, as well. There is a hole in my book shelf that just might be big enough for FNG from Two Hour Wargames...

Thank for the kind words boys, I am rather proud of these lads which are easily the best 15mm figs I've done yet. ?
I have a bunch more plus some vehicles to do when I get some time.  You can see more of my Vietnam stuff here:
http://firebasecoral.blogspot.com/

Ive been using Flashpoint Vietnam mostly, but am thinking of experimenting either with a Crossfire variant or a FoW Variant

I'm mostly into Company/element style gaming rather than skirmish stuff, but have heard that FNG are very very good rules. ?I have 2 other sets from 2Hr Wargames and have been impresed with them

Some cool stuff there, Tas. Great site !  The dirty M48 is neat ! And LCM8s, we used those in Central America. I even spent some time on a C? version as well.  The article from CAC, at Ft. Levenworth, Ks, was great. I spent some time there too. And a lot of other stuff there brought back some memories ... including the M113 WIP ... Again, great site !

Looks real good, Tas ! I think that's a good technique.  And Tamiya has a lot of good military colors. I usually use Polly's S paints. But I'm  always tempted to try some Tamiya too.  Good start on that big boy !  :D

Rolling HoT !!!  You know, IIRC when Drake was with the 11th ACR, they had M48s along with their M113 ACAVs.  :D

You got that right Tas !  :D  Yes, M/J, some later versions, all export, had the Cdr Cupola replaced with a standard hatch with exposed MG. And later versions were upgunned to the standard 105mm, that the M60 and later versions of the Centurion packed.  Greece, Turkey, Israel, Spain, and Pakistan, are some of the countries that still use them. S. Korea used an upgraded version with side skirts also ...

Glad to hear you're enjoying Florida, Tas.

I like the buffalo grass. Thanks for the heads-up. I bookmarked the website.
