All my hobby fails involve me slacking when it comes to vigilantly putting things away so the kids don't get into it while I'm at work.  So far I've had the following things happen when any one of my four sons have "helped" me with my miniatures:
- a Windsor-Newton Series seven #2 brush used to spread super glue on something
- several CAV miniatures in various stages of completion completely covered with a generous helping of purple craft paint.  One stand of infantry became a group of four purple blobs that were totally unrecognizable
-freshly finished infantry held upside down and rubbed back-and-forth across the patio table which had a generous helping of rather abrasive dirt on it.  These would be the same stands as before after having been repainted

ÂÂ

-several drops requiring chipped paint to be repaired if possible
-large amounts of flock dumped out
-spilled half a bottle of paint while I was still inventorying the rest of the order, yeah, I'd just opened the box
-several smushed (that's a technical term) paper buildings, but I don't really count those as I can just print more, but it's still annoying to have to
-carved Styrofoam hills picked at so that there are now large white scars in the brown paint and green flock
-trees picked apart
That's all I can think of for now.  I'm sure there'll be more when I get complacent again.
