After weeks of procrastination, then finding our of stock everywhere, I finally found what must be the last copy of Space Hulk in Canberra.  I'll catch holy domestic hell shortly, but whit a reward like this face its worth it!

The amusing story of how I bought it is here:

Here I thought you were dead set against buying the new Space Hulk.    Although, my line of thinking was similar to yours at first, having a complete set of 1st edition Space Hulk, but I knew it would be hard to pass on a new edition.

"Dead Set" might be overplaying it, but yes I was quite happy with where I was in the world...until I saw, felt and drooled over the fantastic componets.

I love the tiles and the new genestealers.  The Marines are wonderful too, but I dont need them so I might sell them off to offset the costs.  Not sure yet.

Yeah, the components are fantastic. I had already decided to buy it before even seeing it, but if I hadn't planned on it, like you I would have bought based on seeing it.

Good grief!
At this rate you might end up living in Malta after a dozen more moves, that is, by 2011...
By the way, you also have the longest blog on Tac, I believe -   :sign1:

Geez, another move already, Tas? Is that common in the RAN? In any case, I'm glad you're back.

Well this one was to take up a good Command appointment so I didnt complain (unlike the kids...)  2 years would be average atthis stage (more often when I were younger Lad!)

V - I'll be angling for the Defence Attache Southern Europe job in a few years so I'could be just on your doorstep!

Does that mean the longest blog has the most uncompleted projects?

Sounds like you are doing well Tas ! Congrads !! :agree: I tried emailing you the other day. But it didn't make it ... You must have been in transit.  Let us know when you are all settled in.  And that would be very cool if you ended up with Van on Malta for your next move.  Looks like you'll make 20.  Stay as long as you can, Sailor !  :)

Does that man the longest blog has the most uncompleted projects?

Hey, does that mean I get free cruises ;)

Mind you, I get seasick VERY easily... then again I was unlucky the time I went on sea trials - we had half the crew struck down with food poisoning - urgl. Long story that, involving steering gear commissioning (lots of swinging around, glurk) and a cauldron of dish water.....  :alien:  (that smiley would be  good shade guide for painting a model of me on that day).

Longest blog means you're the chap with most time on his hands - better not let your C in C - or the wife - see this!

That's a good reason not to complain. Congratulations. :D
