You've done 2 master's thesises and still get more done than I?  :O I hope my wife does not hear about this or she'll get more proof of my laziness.  :sad:  Oh, and is that why they have this term Tas-mania.  :vD

And don't worry about 40k. I would gladly play 40k. In fact I would gladly play almost anything if I could find an opponent. I started building a Black Templar army for 40k and even managed to finish a playable army (Captain, Emperor's Champion, 2 Tactical Squads & a Dreadnought). And then they released the new codex and suddenly I had an army that would never fire any heavy weapons. Went back to drawing board and i'm still there.

Hi Tas,
heck, I play 40K - or would, if I still had time to play the odd game. Same situation here on this much smaller rock in the middle of the sea - it's 40K, Warhammer, or trading card games... sigh. There are some historical types too, somewhere, but they ARE well hidden.
The only VSF game I ever managed was when someone from the UK dropped in!
Ah well.
Imperials - tanks are fun. Some day I'll try to get mine done (Praetorians) - but meanwhile someone might manageto snitch one of their chimeras - and it's not the Orks... or traitors... or cultists....

What I meant was that I didn't like the new Codex so I decided to scratch the Templars and start anew. I have already decided on the color scheme of my brand new chapter (the Eagle Guard) and have some preliminary notes about their background. Problem I can't bring myself to dump the one 28mm army I've managed to paint to brake fluid.

Hmm, tell you what. Since you are interested in Templars would you be interested in trading unpainted marines for an equivalent amount of painted Templars? Would save some time.  :;):

You can always use Codex SM. Some Black Templars companies might well be organised along Codex Astartes lines.
