Hi all,
It seems that Epic has taken hold at our local club. We've been playing fairly solidly for the last six months. So, I thought it would be good to tell others in the area interested in getting a game in.
Central London Wargames Club is held every Tuesday, starting around 6:30pm, fairly informally (no fees) at a JD Youngs pub, one street due south from Mornington Crecent station and 10 min walk north from Euston Station. We usually have at least four players joining in the scrum, with up to 10 at a time. Some of us are regulars, with many cycling in and out of games of DBx, ships and what have you.
Among the armies fielded: Adeptus Titanicus Titan Legions, Alaitoc, Baran Siege Masters, Biel-Tan, Codex Astartes, Ghazghkull's Ork Horde, Squats, Imperial Guard Steel Legion and White Scars Space Marines, with Tau and Tyranids waiting in the reserves.
I think it is fair to say we're an easy going group. We've a few armies to loan and always welcome new players to join in a multi-player table, if you don't want to do a whole army at once.
So, come down and enjoy a pint and a game.

I think that is a little longer drive then I can do in one day.

So do you fancy gaming on Wednesdays as well?
My local gaming club, Legion, meets on Wednesdays in Shepherds Bush. Play large number of games but more Epic is definitely good thing!!

Heh, yeah I guess I did sign on a few months after you. Glad to hear your doing so well!
Stop by when you get a chance. We should have a city fight table with 40 buildings, desert airstrip table and arctic fuel refinery station table set up this week.

Hiall!
Great Epic party last week, with 10 players spread over an Orkingraad table, a desert table and an arctic fuel refinery table. Much beer was consumed. And a few found new reasons to hate the Eldar and Orks.
Strangely, the core Epic players all planned holidays for this week, so Epic will continue in Central London on the 30 Aug for those interested in some micro mayhem.
