Hello chaps,

I saw this on eBay and was somewhat confused. As far as i'm aware there has NEVER been a plastic Reaver titan...

So either this is a home cast resin Reaver or the chap is giving a majorly false description.

Is anyone aware of a plastic Reaver?

Lead titan with a plastic weapon on top. Poor description in other words.

It doesn't look plastic to me except for the missile on top?  Just a mistake in the listing by the seller I'd pick.

Well I'm the buyer of said item, payment sent on the day of sale. I'll tell you when (if) I recieve the model...
I've come across loads of weird sales on ebay though, 'Ere we go! was in "Chess books" and Imrik was in 'Nids...
Don't get me started on the waves of VOID minis swamping the IG section.
Mistake Metal for plastic,  ???  I've seen worse though.

Further to my earlier post the item is still "Payment Pending" 6 days after the end of the auction.
I've waited till his other auctions had finished before I posted this in the hope that he would get a move on once his other deals ended, so far nothing.
I've gone through his feedback, he has 2 negatives and 2 neutral which I'll paste below; I've also run a search on him which shows him to have played at GW Macclesfield event on 9th October 2004 and a WPS event in 2003.

I've contacted PayPal and got the following responce;

Dear Red,

Thanks for contacting PayPal. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you
with your questions.

I understand that you sent a payment to a seller but he has not received
the payment yet. Upon review of your PayPal account, I can see that the
payment of ?14.62 GBP was sent to an email address not registered on the
PayPal system. This could be because you may have mistyped his email
address or he has not signed up for a PayPal account yet. I suggest that
you contact the seller and inform him about this. You also have the
option to cancel the payment and resend it to the correct email address.
Please allow me to provide you the instructions on how this can be done.

Here's what you need to do to cancel an 'Unclaimed' transaction:

  1.  Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.co.uk

  2.  Click the 'History' tab.

  3.  Select the relevant dates in the Date box and click 'Search' .

  4.  Click 'Cancel' in the Action column of the unclaimed transaction.
(You may only cancel a payment that has a status of 'Unclaimed' and a
'Cancel' button in the Action column).

  5.  Click 'Cancel Payment'.

  6.  The funds from the cancelled payment will be returned to either
the sender's credit card or the balance of their PayPal account,
depending on the funding source used for the original payment. A credit
to a credit card may take up to 30 days to process, depending on the
card issuer.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact
us again.

All the best with your future transactions. Thank you for choosing
PayPal.

Give me his Grid Coordinates - I'll call in CAS or FA or Both !    But seriously, good luck on this. With E-biz, we put a lot of trust in the guy on the other end of the e-deal ... I'm lucky, I've never been "burned" (yet?!). But it appears that the Worldwide Postal System has lost a couple of packages ...
