I have seen this kind of thing before.

I have also seen where the auction is up about 6 days before the release. The seller is going to have them in hand before the auction closes.

I phoned the UK mail order and they are available so I ordered a bundle which includes the space marine characters.  Not sure what I get though because they mention that you get a selection as opposed to the whole lot so I will wait and se what I get in the pack of 5 sprues.

Like the Squat Land Train battlecars. If you wanted a certain combination you were bound to have to buy at least one extra blister. And that was if you were lucky.  :angry:  Way to go GW! I hate random packs. Yet another less-than-subtle "Forced buying" plot from the baboons GW employs as their marketing personnel.  :(

In the old days, Epic blisters arriving here were a special selection - if there was a random packing, all those getting to Malta were identical, giving no choice at all. of course now we just don't get Epic.

The character pack don't look that great anyway. Especially if you have quite a lot of the... previous sprue that contains them.

They're a disappointment.

I know its frustrating!!:angry:   I checked WD299 again and it states there that the blister contains 5 sprues a random selection is shown.  When making the order the guy did check and its random packing alright :(  The only problem with that is that you can never tell what the full character selection is to know whether or not you have them all.... aarrrrrrrrggghhh!

If we could get a complete list of the Charaters, then we could organize and each buy a couple and trade for a "set".  :L

Gosh that sounded so much like a CCG fan.  :{

Sometimes I just hate GW and their stupid choices. I understand the thinking, makes the fans buy more packs, I just hate them for it.  :oo

I think the pics Jimbo took at UK G-Day, showed the SM-C/Pack models painted up, IIRC ? ? I'll order 3 or 4 packs, ID what I can and sell off the rest (Doug?). I won't be ordering until next week. Anyone who gets a pack let us know what you get ! ? ? ?:;): ?We'll try to outsmart S/G's skullduggery ! :p
