Umm not sure on this guys auctions. I hope they are 40k models rather than Epic ones for the sake of those who have already bid on them. Ebay seller |

Sent ebay seller this message - Hi, I was wondering if you could supply the dimensions of this and the other models you have for auction please. It would probably be best to put these on the auctions themselves as there has been a lot of confusion over Epic scale models and 40k scale models. Regards Do you think I'll get a reply! |

Hmm, new account, seems to know a lot about forgeworld, listed under epic40000... I strongly suspect a scam ![]() |

I'm always suspicious when the seller doesn't provide pics or doesn't clearly indicate if they're for Epic or 40k. Was I the only one to find it painful to read his abominable writing? He didn't use a single period in any of his sentences. |

For me, this kind of thing is a question of intent. Some auctions are clearly just badly put together. However, subtle phrases like 'new in box' tell me that this is an attempt to push it over as a larger model. |

Indeed, a cursory glance suggests that, although they claim ignorance, they seem to be more aware than they would like us to believe... I think a bit of scamming is going on... ![]() |

Strange he knows the names of each model... which indicatez they are still boxed. And if so surely it would say 'EPIC' on the lable somewhere. I must say though that anyone who has bidded on these items asumming them to be 40K without any futher thought must be a bit stupid. |

It fits the MO of that terrencestephens guy. Listed in the epic section. Not labeled as epic in the description. Story in the description to pre-explain lack of email response/answers. |

"please with this in mind do not bid if you are bnot sure as mistakes are not our fault " Oh really? ?Well, there goes by bs alarm. Scam, no doubt about it. EDIT - seeing as Forgeworld Thunderbolts do not come in a box, other than the brown one they stick the baggie in, could he simply be reported for using a misleading title? It's possible he's also breaking the excessive postage rule but I can't prove that as he may just stick it in a ridiculously big box. |

All my forgeworld purchases are in Brown Boxes with labels on them, so the box sounds about right to me. However. It still looks like a scam |

(Dwarf Supreme @ Jan. 10 2007,15:13) QUOTE Was I the only one to find it painful to read his abominable writing? He didn't use a single period in any of his sentences. I strongly suspect he's trying to convince everyone he's just a naive dad who's not really completely down with this newfangled internet thing. After all, they wouldn't con anyone, would they? Of course, it's 'odd' that such a person would be aware that he might get a barrage of questions about his confusing listing. |

Good point, Bombot, but I would actually expect a "naive dad" to use proper written English. |

I would expect a "naive dad" to use proper english and provide as much information as he can regarding the items for sell, pictures if he has them, measurements if he does not. |
