Ok, maybe this topic should not be here, but i can't think about a better place for it: Is there anything usable as an squat thunderfire proxy? I say so because it seems almost impossible to buy one these days ![]() |

I'd look for something in a 10mm or 15mm Flak tank and just use the turret. If you could get some of the Mark I Basilisks, it might look OK to mount 2 turrets together to make a proxy. Of course it might be interesting to build some of these yourself out of rod & card. I found some small aluminum tubing at a hobby shop. One size slides neatly into the next size up and would make some great gun barrels. |

I reckon the Forgeworld Earthshaker with a couple of extra barrels added would be pretty good, and I wouldn't have a problem with people using the FW Hydra Platform either. |

Yes, Con, is correct ... a 10 or 15mm Flak Gun(s) is more to scale. GHQ, though very nice, is just too small ... |

Not sure how big the guns need to be but several CAVs have gatling style weapons. You can order just the parts for most CAVs, clip the weapons off the arm and dress it up a little bit. Although, if you're outside the US shipping cost may outweigh the benefits. Here's a couple examples of models I own Starhawk V Dimensions 29mm x 5mm x 4mm Starhawk VI Here's a pic of one Dimensions 32mm x 8mm x 7mm Wraith(This one might be more difficult to use) Barrel length is 15mm and is 5mm in diameter. |

Squat Thunderfire? Are these the sinle big cannon pointing up into the air? I don't really like squats that much and I think I have one or two lying around somewhere. |

No, the Thunderfire has a total of three barrels. You're thinking of the Goliath, a super-heavy howitzer. |

I'm sure if you don't want that Goliath, one of the Boyz here will take it off your hands ! ![]() |
